About This Site

Utopia Revisited is an illustrated novel– harkening back to the classics like Treasure Island, Robin Hood, and Arabian Nights, which were peppered throughout with illustrations. It is not a graphic novel, which in format and content more closely resembles a comic book. In the latter, the reader is provided with all the visuals necessary and the text is dominated by dialogue. In an illustrated novel, the author gives the reader “glimpses” of his or her vision and allows the reader to build upon it.
